I had not heard this, so i searched it out and WOW!!! I understood . So i present for you my cover of Bill Evans cover of Alex Norths beautiful "Spartacus Love Theme".

I present for you a very loose adaptation of the wonderful "Gone With The Wind" . Written in 1937 by Allie Rubel and possibly related to the Margret Mitchell novel. It has been covered many times by many great artists, including the great Bill Evans. The most successful version was by the wonderful Jazz guitarist Wes Montgomery on 1960.

I know it has not been long since i posted my version of the Bill Evans SPARTACUS so please forgive me. ;) I HAD TO !!! go back to it as Jon (Pollenfax) sent me some beautiful vocals. I have replayed and i hope bettered my performance and also added some orchestration and Jazz drums.

イギリス人1人宅録オーケストラDirectorsoundが前作より3年ぶりとなる、通算7枚目のアルバムをリリース！
はじめての子供の誕生に対する喜びと愛を綴った、穏やかでスウィートな箱庭アコースティック・シンフォニーによる、音のラブレター。

イギリス・ドーセット出身ロンドン在住のマルチ奏者ニック・パーマーによる音楽プロジェクト、ダイレクターサウンド。前作から3年ぶりとなる本作は、2016年8月に誕生したニックの初めての子供のために制作されたアルバムです。前作『Into the Night Blue』ではスウェーデンの音の魔術師 ”Musette”ことヨエル・ダネルらを迎えて録音しましたが、本作は再び1人オーケストラのスタイルで制作されました。
 
2016年の8月、ロンドンの病院で子供が無事に誕生した後、36時間寝てない状態だったニックは少し休憩しようと朝の5時頃に公園を散歩していました。その朝日が昇る中、このアルバムの最初のモチーフを思い浮かび、その後2年の月日をかけて子供のために作曲と録音を続けアルバムを完成させました。録音の作業は子供を起こさない様に夜遅い時間に行っていたそうです。
 
ギター、ピアノ、アコーディオン、バンジョー、ウクレレ、ツィター、オートハープ、ブズーキ、パーカッションなど、たくさんの生楽器を1人で演奏し（＊Ian Halfordがドラムで数曲参加。）、古いジャズや映画音楽、エキゾチカ、ハワイアン、フォークなどの要素が１曲の中に万華鏡のように混在するダイレクターサウンド特有の箱庭アコースティック・オーケストラ的サウンドとロマンチシズムは健在ながらも、今までよりもレイドバックした、穏やかでゆったりと流れる曲調の楽曲で構成されています。はじめての子供の誕生という複雑さも含む喜びの記録であり、もっとも特別な時間へ宛てたラブレターのような作品です。
