Ralph Simon, is a multifaceted music producer and songwriter who embarked on his musical journey in 2012. His story is a testament to creativity, dedication, and an unwavering passion for pushing the boundaries of sound.
In the early stages of his career, Ralph delved into the world of music production, navigating the intricacies of software like FruityLoops, Logic Pro and Ableton. His first milestone came in 2013 when he clinched victory (as “DJ Raffa Simon”) in a remix contest hosted by the renowned Dutch radio station, SlamFM. The grand prize opened doors to a studio session with the illustrious Dutch singer Eva Simons, and a trip to Pacha Ibiza with Dutch DJ Mitchell Niemeyer.

Fueling his ambition further, Ralph earned admission to the prestigious Herman Brood Academie, a renowned Dutch school for dance producers and musicians. From 2013 to 2016, he immersed himself in Dance Producers classes, emerging as a graduate in 2016. It was during this time that he assumed the alias "Pitchback," together with classmate Jorrit Popkema, gaining recognition for his contributions to the big room and electronic dance genres.

Pitchback's ascent reached new heights with a signing on Armada Music, followed by multiple releases on Revealed Recordings, curated by the iconic DJ Hardwell. The track "Cosmic Dark" stands as a testament to Pitchback's prowess, with millions of streams on Spotify.
In 2016, Pitchback received a nomination for Beatport's Best Big Room Artist, marking a pivotal moment in his career. His music found resonance on global stages, with performances at festivals like Tomorrowland, 7th Sunday Festival, and Freshtival, earning support from industry giants including Tiesto, David Guetta, Hardwell, Nicky Romero, and W&W.

As Ralph's journey unfolded, he felt a yearning to expand his sonic horizons. Taking a step back from Pitchback, he explored a diverse array of genres, including Pop, R&B, Hip-Hop, Classical Cinematic, and Rock. This exploration paved the way for a musical evolution, leading him to the realisation that he wanted to craft hit records in the pop genre, infused with the richness of his varied musical experiences.
