Her evocative repertoire draws from a variety of folk styles, ambient experimental sensibilities as well as eastern influences, playing mainly Indian Classical Sarangi and finger style guitar. Jolanda’s expressive lyrical messages guide haunting undertones ranging from sparse and gentle pluckings to a build up of expansive instrumental and rich vocal textures created live with a loop pedal.

Johan van Kreij (1969) improvises and composes music. In 1994 he started his studies at Sonology, in the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, graduating in 1998. Frequently he performs his music, solo or with other musicians.
