I’ve been looking for this song but it has a more undertale like feel to it. Almost like its from the 70’s

Do you mind telling me what this song is called? Unless what you have it as is what its called. I just cant find it the same everywhere else... could you maybe find the version im looking for and send the link? Sorry for troubling you.

I was inspired by the Lavender town from Pokemon Red and Blue. I felt it had a very creepy melody which help made the score really creepy

This is a huge departure from my usual electronic stuff. It's an "orchestral" piece depicting a battle. For those who are familiar with #CriticalRole, the middle section has themes for Percy firing his guns, Scanlon using his flute, and Tiberius casting a spell.

This was created in Mixcraft 7 using loops.

Root Foot

A theme I composed based on the Alma animation short film produced by ex-Pixar animator Rodrigo Blaas. I created a theme to express the creepiness in the abandoned doll shop within the film. When composing for this piece, I was inspired by the Pokemon Red and Blue Lavander Town theme which has a very eerie feel in it.

The word "alma" in Spanish means "soul". The film is about a girl named Alma who wanders into a deserted town and store.

The goal of Undertow is to tell a story through use of instrumentation. It also functions as a sort of overture, revealing pieces of six main themes that would be expanded upon in a larger score, but condensed here into a single piece.

In short, it's telling the story of a character's fall into villainy through the themes of childlike innocence, lost love, grief, revenge, a descent into madness, and arising in darkness.

This composition was completed over three successive weekends. It's built on over 50 tracks, uses the entire orchestra, and is the longest and most complex piece I've written to date (featuring multiple tempo, key, and time signature changes). There are some rhythmic themes I've tried to weave throughout, but most of the continuity is through use and reuse of instruments.

Undertow

Jolene Khor is an award winning composer attracting recognition for her whimsical and aesthetics driven compositions, reminiscent of the style popularised by studio Ghibli in Japan. Indeed it is her love of video games, films and anime along with music that inspired her to study composition for screen leading to her receiving a Batchelor's Degree in 2021 from Fu Jen Catholic University, Taiwan, and then fast tracking a Masters in Composition for Screen in 2022 at the world leading Royal College of Music in London.

 

Jolene brings together thorough classical music and jazz training, along with her passion for Japanese and Chinese aesthetics, to create a satisfying blend of east and west, of savant music and popular instruments. This passion served her well during her studies when she collaborated with young filmmakers and animators of the London Film School, Royal College of Arts and Central Saint Martins as well as at the Royal College of Music where she was trained in managing recording sessions. Jolene has also recorded her music at Air Edel and Abbey Road recording studios.

Jolene teaches Composition, Piano, Jazz and Music Theory in London and is actively composing for the video games The Gods Fabled Soil Frontier and Towers as well as a soundtrack for the tabletop games by Emberwind.
