Finally digging back into Elancia on a more regular basis now. That album isn't gonna finish itself.
I did this peaceful little tune when I was a teenager, and promptly forgot about it for about 20 years. Other than some heavy quantizing, I didn't have to do a lot to it, which was nice. I did the part at 1:20 new, as the song kind of didn't really go anywhere the way I'd written it back then. Enjoy!

I've had this one sitting around on my hard drive for a while. It's a town/village theme for the Elancia book series. This one focuses on a small, snowy town in the high desert mountains (and the surrounding environs.) 

A lone gunfighter with a still-weeping wound wanders into town in search of a ruthless gang of bandits, leaving bloody footprints in his wake.

After a short keyboard introduction, the main tune of this melodic instrumental piece is played on alto sax, followed by an improvised tenor sax solo.
The overall feel of this piece is fast, yet relaxed melodic rock. Using a combination of electronic and acoustic instruments.
