This month's podcast comes from a Scottish chap who also coincidentally has his first KOT release this week, with his 'Acid Storm EP' - Valhalla. 

Owner of Groove Shack Records from it's inception in 2020. His album DNA topped the Norwegian iTunes charts, coming in at #1 in Techno Albums & #29 in Techno Albums in the UK. The album's House single, "House of Tribe," was also featured on Spotify's own editorial playlists; Friday Crate Diggers and Dance Rising. He also boasts many more releases (including a remix for 90s rave legends The Rhythmic State) which have gained support from the likes of Judge Jules, Paul Oakenfold and Sam Paganini.

He also hosts regular Groove Shack events in his hometown,showcasing artists from his label and guest DJs such as Argy (UK) & Hans Bouffmyre.

Valhalla hosts his own radio show, The Residency with VALHALLA, on Scotland's popular dance music station Beat 106 Scotland.

Aida Arko, an Iranian-born electronic music producer and DJ, has become a prominent figure in the techno scene. Influenced by the Persian underground scene and her cultural heritage, Aida left her academic pursuits in biology to embark on a global journey in performance and music. After years of touring with Cirque de Soleil, she settled in Austria in 2016 and focused on her true passion - music. As a resident DJ at the renowned Grelle Forelle club, Gegen Collective and NoGender, Aida has earned a reputation for her distinctive hard-edge techno sound, characterized by groovy hard techno infused with percussive, industrial beats. Her career highlights include releases on HEKATE, GEGEN Records, Techno Germany, Sacred Courts. She is set to perform at Boiler Room Budapest, Verknipt Festival, Fury Festival Barcelona, Sara Landry’s Eternalism Tour & more this year.
