Despite his name, 10 bob popstar Steven Las Vegas comes from Dewsbury Moor, Yorkshire. 

His general panache, pizzaz and exquisite dress sense (his own words) are a sight rarely seen on Dewsbury Moor and earnt him the nickname Steven Las Vegas. This sorely highlighted the gulf between his Las Vegas residency ambitions and the mundane reality of being stricken by his small town ways and unshakeable strong Yorkshire accent, notwithstanding his impressive moustache. 

Remarkably, Steven Las Vegas has been played on BBC6 music by Tom Robinson who described him as ‘Blooming Daft’.
