This unique split E.P. between The Goddamn Gallows and Black Eyed Vermillion is the beginning of a series of releases where the artists cover each others material. Originally released on vinyl only in 2011, The Swappin' Spit E.P. has gained a lot of recognition in the roots music underground. All of the artists on the album are featured on the last track "In League With Satan" originally written and released by famed black metal band Venom. In League With Satan also featured Farmageddon Records recording artist James Hunnicutt. This album was recorded by three engineers in three different states, Andy Gibson Recordings in Nashville, TN. Million Dollar Sound in Austin, TX. and James Hunnicutt's part by Tony Reed in Seattle, WA. Original album art and layout by Joe Perreze, of the Perreze Farm. The third studio release from The Goddamn Gallows, and a very notable one at that. You can see in these songs that The Goddamn Gallows were evolving steadily into something new! They still had a little of the psychobilly punk twang, but there was a little more to it than just that. This album was originally self released by the band in 2008, and was re-released on Farmageddon Records in 2011 on limited edition vinyl, and has since been repressed.
