Next up on the @idlecellars mix series is a dear friend and one of my fave selectors @cherrystones. When I was asked to curate these mixes the simple premise is to arrange a soundtrack that would accompany a nice glass of wine as the sun goes down. So when I asked Gareth Goddard aka Cherrystones (aka Godsy to his friends) for a contribution I knew it was going to be something really special and what an epic treat it is. G has always been ahead of the curve musically. So much so, people have created entire record labels around his discoveries and whilst people struggle to keep up he’s always a few steps ahead. I’ve often tried to get him to slow down so people can catch up. That’s never gonna happen. Truth is, I’ve learnt so much from Godsy.
