My good friend, who is always working behind the scenes and usually misses my sets, asked me to play for her birthday party: so we threw down a rowdy set to shutdown one of her two rooms she had going for the party.

After winning Western Canada’s biggest DJ competition — the Pioneer Mix Master Battle — in 2010, he’s opened for dozens of top 100 DJs and dished out his signature sound to thousands.
A mainstay at The Womp festival, as well as part of NABDnB, he’s also a substitute teacher at Sunday School, lending light to the darkness with pulse-pounding drum and bass.
Drawing off influences ranging from k motionz and phibes to culture shock, J-Sound shares his creative light through music, dance and laughter, producing an ear-pleasing mix of dark, heavy and dangerous.
