STACCATO-CORE: A style of music composition and production which religiously uses the staccato technique (notes sound sharply detached & separated from one another, often likened to a sudden *stabbing* sensation). In its purest form, also features brief silences, high tempos, and the sparing use or even complete absence of reverb.
The contrast created by the onslaught of huge sounds rapidly hitting you in the face, vanishing without a trace, and returning with abrasive force repeatedly is the essence of STACCATO-CORE.

DIGITAL FUSION (digifu): "Music that combines various musical genres with early PC/computer music styles that were shaped by hardware limitations, such as video game music, demoscene/tracker music, chiptune, and MIDI. I made this for the Maj7 Discord server Cover Ring event of autumn 2021 (it's basically like a secret santa, but instead of buying/receiving gifts, musicians make covers of each other's tracks & have no idea who is making who's until all is revealed in a climactic listen party stream!).
