Weihnachten mal anders

Das durchschnittliche Weihnachtsfest im 21. Jahrhundert ist nur noch sehr begrenzt mit seinem kulturell-historischen Ursprung vergleichbar. Überdauert hat zweifelsohne die Tradition des Schenkens, der Weihnachtsbaum und das besinnliche Beisammensein im Kreis der Familie. 
Bis zur flächendeckenden Christianisierung zelebrierten die vorchristlichen Germanen und Kelten das sogenannte Julfest. Im Rahmen entsprechender Feierlichkeiten wurden Tannenbäume mit Lichtern behängt, die Sippe kam zusammen und es wurde gemeinsam gefeiert, getanzt und gelacht. Geschenke gab es damals vorrangig von Mutter Natur. Amanita Muscaria, auch bekannt als Fliegenpilz, wächst bevorzugt in der Nähe von Nadelbäumen. Es wird vermutet, dass u. a. dieser psychoaktive Pilz im Rahmen eines heidnischen Rituals verzehrt wurde. Dadurch intensivierten die Feierenden ihre spirituelle Verbindung zum  Himmel, sowie zur Erde. 
Auch heutzutage ist das markante Rot mit weißen Punkten charakteristisch für die Weihnachtszeit. Man denke z. B. an den Weihnachtsmann, mit seinem purpurnen Gewand. Über viele kulturgeschichtliche Zusammenhänge lässt sich heute mangels existierender Aufzeichnungen nur noch Mutmaßen, spannend bleibt es alle mal. 

Dieser weihnachtliche Podcast wurde uns von jonajosu zusammengezaubert. Für die besinnliche Zeit des Jahres und KataHaifisch haben sich die Beiden musikalisch so richtig in Schale geworfen. Über 107 Minuten lang wird feinster Downsnappy auf dem Silbertablett serviert. Shout out to the Pastanaga Crew who invited us to the closing party of the Schaltzentrale in Hamburg. It was very much fun sweating with so many energized dancers. The floor "Saunadokien" had a very distinct feel with stunning lighting and beatiful decoration. The music was very well curated and great every second the whole party through. 

Thank you for the great Slot time from 4am-6am... the energy was intense!! 🔥

WOW - What a trip!!

Our dearest @ple_xy invited Daniel for an adventurous b2backstage experience at the "Meeresrausch" Festival. As we curated our set through micro-house, tech-house, and techno tunes, the weather accompanied our journey in the most stunning way. As we began our expedition, a storm started brewing in the background. After roughly half an hour, it poured intensely for 15 minutes. While a few jolly dancers braved the rain, the rest of the crowd retreated into the cozy backstage areas around the floor. The clouds began to part as our mix intensified, and the stage kept getting fuller and fuller. Finally, the sun came out and warmed our hearts and faces. The wet floor was soon forgotten, and our emotions and joy playing in front of so many familiar faces and light-hearted people rose to an ecstatic state of bliss. The 3 hours were over in what felt like mere moments, filled with love, sympathy, and pleasure.

This is one ride I won't forget! Thank you so much for the invitation @ple_xy <3

A big shoutout to all the "Backstage-Floor" crew for creating such an incredible stage!

And a big hug to @meeresrausch for the past 10 years!! We are all so sad about how your journey has come to an end. Thank you for all the astonishing moments over the years! I am so touched to have had the opportunity to give something back!

Picture yourself waking up in a moon crater, surrounded by space chimps. Of course you would want to escape, but first you’ll need means of transportation. So you get up and want to leave, but the space chimps demand something in return for your passing! Thankfully you find a ripe banana in your left pocket. The banana had a chilling effect on the monkeys and they let you pass. After wandering for what felt like eternity you arrive at a mountain on top of which you see a shimmering light. Somehow you feel attracted to the light and you start ascending the mountain. Your space suit is soaked in sweat as you arrive at the peak. The light that attracted you turns out to be a box filled with tons of Lego. Memorizing your childhood you start building a spaceship that will bring you home. After getting lost in construction you find yourself in front of five ships to choose from. Hours of pointless pondering later a falling star enlightens the ship to your very left. Hmm, interesting choice! Somehow you feel good with the star’s decision and take off for your journey. In the moment of your takeoff you notice the space chimps waving goodbye and throwing a banana peel in the direction of your destination. Finally you feel at ease and cruise home, reminding yourself how important it is to listen to your tummy...

He had slept about two hours when the daylight woke him and he looked at Jendayi sleeping easily and looking happy in her sleep. He left her looking beautiful and young and unspoiled and then went into the bathroom and showered and put on a pair of shorts and walked barefoot through the garden to the where he worked. The sky was washed, clean after the and it was the fresh early morning of a new day toward the end of summer. He started in again on the new and difficult story and worked attaching each that for years he had put off facing. He worked until nearly eleven o'clock and when he had finished for day he shut up the room and went out and found the two girls playing chess at a table in the They both looked fresh and  young and as attractive as the wind-washed morning sky. “She beating me again," Jendayi said. "How are you David?” The girl smiled at him very shyly. Anber fell asleep in a Gondola and awake under the hot shivering sun. This is his first offering for Shango Records. These two tracks are fluid as a paintbrush yet precise as a scalpel. Balint Boldizsar, Jonajosu, Jean Vayat and M.Age.Project are telling stories of “maybe” to Jendayi.
