This collaborative EP is a sonic tennis match between Jonaku and Rob Alanz. Starting with the original track No Need To Change by Jonaku, the idea was to rally the song back and forth, remixing it like a game of tennis. The result: four dynamic versions — the original, plus three remixes. Rob Alanz fires back with the Top Spin Shot Remix, Jonaku counters with his Backhand Remix, and Rob finishes strong with the Matchpoint Remix. One track, four takes, pure creative rally.

Originally from Tunisia and now based in Montréal, Benza brings a raw, self-taught energy to the underground scene. Drawn to groove and rhythm from a young age, he found his sound in the blend of minimal, deep, and dirty beats that define his sets today. After moving to Montréal, he immersed himself in music and taught himself everything — from mixing to crafting his own flow — building a style that’s both instinctive and refined. Who’s in the house? VINNY JAMES is in the house!

Vinny James – Born in Rotterdam (1986) – Has been crazy about music from an early age. During his childhood, Vinny soon discovered that he wanted to do much more with this. Vinny dreamed of a successful career as a disc jockey and decided to pursue his dreams. As a teenager of only 15 years, Vinny bought his first records and was immediately sold! His weekends were then given a fixed interpretation: playing and listening to tracks for hours and hours and together with friends to the Nieuwe Binnenweg in Rotterdam so they could buy the latest vinyl records. The good old days! The record stores in Rotterdam did some really good business because of Vinny cause from that moment on he never let go of his dreams.

Now more than 18  years later he developed his sound. Vinny played real house music, which in recent years has been further developed into deep house, tech house and booming techno. Everything he does he does it with his heart, but gets his inspiration from other talented artists as well. Interaction with the audience, how to get the audience moving and enjoying the music is one of the most important things for Vinny James. In addition, his mission as a DJ is clear: he wants to achieve the following with his target group: “Is Vinny James playing today? Then I’ll be there!” More people on the dance floor guarantees more love!

Five years after purchasing the records, Vinny came in contact with Club VIE Rotterdam; the perfect location to play his house music. Club VIE was – certainly at the time- a leader in the Dutch entertainment scene. It was a great success for Vinny; and in no time he was a resident DJ and played here for over 5 to 6 years. Partly because of Club VIE , where he stood with (inter)national great artist, his final dream was another step closer! After his period at Club Vie, Vinny became a resident DJ at 1NUL8 in Rotterdam for more than 5 years. This new challenge ultimately ensured that the bookings kept coming. Vinny is booked weekly at many great events and in the best clubs. Vinny stands for professionalism and enthusiasm as entertainer, with high quality sets that can be heard on his official Soundcloud channel.

This place is my vision of house music

Dans une certaine mesure , le pluralisme et le purisme musical peuvent être réunis au sein d'une même oeuvre si cela tend vers une même finalité.
Des styles très différents peuvent se mélanger  , non pas pour créer un nouveau style, mais colorer la musique par différentes influences sans la dénaturer .

Ce postulat, selon moi ,  fait parti de l'esprit de cette musique  faite avant tout pour rassembler toutes les personnalités :)
