Goa Trance Sets

A few months ago Nova Fractal asked me to make a mix with the best tracks in my opinion of the releases on his digital label Timewarp Records. 
This sounded like a challenge to me and the result can be found here! :) The title is how the mix feels to me: I "visited" 4 different territories :) 
The first part is rather Psy-trance with goa-influences, the second part is full power modern goa, the third part is morning goa-trance and the last part is euphoric goa/nitzhogoa!

This Fifth mix is about 1997, mixed with 2 CDJ1000s and Pioneer djm300 (no lap top mixing involved!). And again, it was a big challenge...  as also in 1997 many of the tracks were not made for dj's, and thus, hard to mix. But I chose the tracks for their musical value, not for their mixing abilities. I hope I managed decently anyway :)This is the first of 2 mixes from 1997. This is the morning/sunrise mix, later on I will also make a "night" - more acidic old school goa trance mix! :) So, have a look, a listen and make sure to buy the music if you like it!

This mix is - again - about 1997, mixed with 2 CDJ1000s and Pioneer djm300 (so no lap top mixing involved!). 
After the 1997 - morning side, with pure melodic morning trance, I now tried to represent the more acidic, a little darker side of goa around that time! :)You'll see lots of more obscure tracks... Good music is not only from famous labels... you'll see ;) 
Next coming up... The 1998 mix! :) This will feature only 1 mix I think... :)

There are also 2 post scripta concerning this set! 

- Here it is only 2h 20 minutes, that is because the "bis" number was Aes Dana vs Asura - Elie! :) That made the set exactly 2h 30 minutes! :)
- The  other thing,  on Boom, I took the wrong Etnica cd (CD2 instead of 1) so Vimana was not played by me, instead I ended my set with Children of Stones by Hunab Ku ! :) Here, the original plan was done ;)

Proxeeus - Live @ Connection Festival 2017

ZNA 2017, for sure the highpoint last year for the old school goa lovers! :) I was a happy man that I could be a goa guardian on the opening of the festival.  They asked me to play a unique old school set, and for this I dug very deep in my collection,with the following result! A more acidic start, going to more typical goa, floating into hypnotic stuff and a euphoric climax at the end! :)
