The year is 2017 and Southern California is experiencing its worst drought to date. The Governor has called for an all out state-of-emergency in order for people to reduce, reuse, and recycle, but not for a drought one would expect — four-on-the-floor beats. An unforeseen consequence that in a time of digitalization and over-saturation has left us on a loop and have left the people dehydrated. 

Venues have openly expressed this deep thirst through parched lips and swollen tongues. Dusty hands are put in the air between spotlights and lazers. Children weep on corners to empty grooves. To what purpose? Is there an end to the madness?
 
One party crew has risen from the ashes of a saturated music scene to deliver fresh and fluid House beats to quench the thirst of its parched citizens. West Coast born-and-bred musicians (magicians, if you will), Fritz Carlton, Ghostea, Kevin Anderson, Lubelski, and Rybo have banded together in pursuit of resolving this saturation by giving their beats to the good people of LA and the world with a brand new label titled - Room Temperature Records
 
Their first compilation comes as a teaser of the eclecticism that Room Temp offers LA’s House Music scene — an 11-track heated curation including music from the likes of CA’s Justin Jay, Australia’s Kovaxx, UK’s Josh Brown, Sweden’s Ulf Bonde, and San Francisco’s MPHD.

Our favorite dogs are back with their 3rd Night Bass EP and it’s an absolute monster. The Westcoaster EP kicks off with the title track, a road tested smasher with a haunting intro that builds up into one of the most energetic drops we’ve heard in a while. The flipside “Gotta Move” is more classic @PhlegmaticDogs peak-hour energy, a heavy and driving bassline on top of a bed of skippy and shuffley drums that will leave people frothing.
