Last weekend we played our first real gig after the recent lockdown. We are so happy that it was at Mensch Meier, our club home.  So good to be back <3

A dream came true - Even if we where asked to play an easy Downtempo Set, which is a little different from how we like to play now at Gigs, we felt so happy and blessed to be invited by the lovely booking Crew of Dubstation Stage of the legendary and unique Fusion Festival in Lärz, Germany. What an honor to play there - hard to describe the feeling we had, when our phone rang with the invitation, the feeling to be back at this Festival after 4 years but this time as Artists and the feeling we had when we started our Set at this amazing created Dubstation. 

We didn't knew where the journey was leading us but with all the love of these strong Folks that stayed awake to dance and seesaw with us, this is what came out. Long story short, listen yourself. Here is the result of our 3 hour trip at 3am on Fusion Thursday.

Some schools of psychotherapy focus on becoming aware of emotions and naming them in order to understand our inner landscape, to be ultimately able to experience them more consciously and to help regulating them in healthy ways. If you want to practice this skill, Nɨxe’s set is a rich playground opportunities; full of wondrous sights and twists and turns. Through depth and highs, sometimes bold and in your face and sometimes tickling you from behind, it is a journey through different strata, contexts and epochs of slow, electronic dance music. However, while exploring the landscape, it never fails to keep an eye on the dance floor to get you heart jumping, your face smiling and your hips gyrating. If you want the full experience, set aside, what you’ve been doing, listen, turn up the volume a little and drop into yourself to feel those feelings. When you want to take an introspective ride through the darkest places and most hidden thoughts, rest assured that Crille & Tamalt (@crilleundtamalt) provide the perfect soundtrack for this. Growing up at the coast of Germany's ever rainy North Sea, both share a fondness for retro-futuristic music, which combines aesthetics from past decades and is at the same time perfectly matching the requirements of contemporary electronic club music. They are showcasing their niche selection at performances all around Europe, drawing the listeners into a vortex of ambigous emotions and confusing sounds, only to release them to pure euphoria by setting off one of their signature edits of a long forgotten 90s anthem. We are more than happy about the way we walked together and are now proud to introduce their latest work..

Gerade noch so und in letzter Sekunde kommt hier noch schnell was reingeflattert. Beim ersten Reinhören könnte man fast denken, dass die kältere und kuschligere Jahreszeit hier musikalisch angekündigt wird. Wohlig entspannt, plockert das Ding so schön vor sich hin, wie ne herzhaft, eingedickte Herbstsuppe auf der warmen Herdplatte. Könnte kaum besser schmecken bei den Temperaturen. 

Empfehlung vom Küchenchef @robin_dey höchstpersönlich, knusprig, frisch gebackenes Brot dazu. Wer braucht schon Clubs, wenn's Suppen gibt. Und nun allen einen guten Appetit.

So meine Lieben … hier der letzte Mix aus Uwe’s „We Are At Home“ Reihe. Wie ich die Reihe gestartet hatte … hätte ich nicht gedacht das daraus fast 70 Podcast werden – uff. Aber ich hoffe ich habe euch während der dunkelsten Zeit der Pandemie mit guter und positiver Musik versorgt. Nun kommt der Frühling und ich bin gut im Garten beschäftigt ein guter Zeitpunkt zum Aufhören. Begebe mich wieder in den Ruhestand … mal schauen wie lang diesmal haha.

Ein großer Dank und ein dicker Schmatz geht an alle Künstler raus die sich soviel Mühe mit den Cast gemacht haben … es hat echt super Spaß gemacht so spontan zu agieren und hat auch mir im Home-Office definitiv die Zeit verschönert. 😘😘😘

Für den letzte Podcast konnte ich den lieben Anselmus gewinnen und er hat eine wunderbare Reise in die Zwischenräume gebastelt.
