Way Out West a.k.a. Nick Warren and Jody Wisternoff made a stellar return this summer with their new studio album ‘Tuesday Maybe’. The title track was released as a single in early 2016, remixed by I:Cube and supported by John Digweed, Maceo Plex and Âme, and now Israeli maestro Guy J works his magic on a brand new remix.

Layering the atmospheric original melodies over a driving low-end groove, Guy adds his trademark progressive touch to proceedings whilst ramping up the drama in an epic breakdown.

A DJ friend of mine William Hass played the original in my first Simpel House Klub party in 2017. 

When I had my DJ debut in 2018 at William Hass's party on the now closed club KB18 in Copenhagen. I had done this mashup for the occasion.

Sasha's superb remix of alternative indie artist SYML's critically acclaimed single 'The Bird' is out now on Nettwerk

After Sasha's successful collaboration with Kölsch 'The Lights' this year, his remix of 'The Bird' gives the track new wings through a compelling bassline and bubbling staccato percussion, complementing the original haunting vocals and poignant guitar. 

‘When SYML approached me to remix ‘The Bird’, I couldn’t wait to get in the studio’ Sasha says. ‘The original has beautiful ethereal melodies, and incredible vocals, so there were amazing parts to work with. I just had to get the beats right and I’m really happy with how it turned out.’

Always innovative, Sasha is no stranger to reinterpreting music outside the electronic genres. Fans of his audaciously assured reworks of Rüfüs Du Sol's 'Innerbloom' and Klangstof's 'Hostage' will be thrilled with this new offering.

The original release from Seattle-based artist and producer SYML (aka Brian Fennell) was one of the 'Best 11 New Songs We Heard in February (2019)' by NPR: 'takes him to glitchier and more soaring terrain, like some sort of gorgeous pastiche of Hozier and Sigur Rós.'

Cryptozoology, the search for and study of animals whose existence or survival is disputed or unsubstantiated, such as the Loch Ness monster and the yeti, is something that Henry Saiz finds deeply intriguing. His love of exoticism and strange natural/organic sounds (his own label is called Natura Sonoris - which means Nature of Sound) provide the fuel for this latest stunning Bedrock release.

“The Cryptozoologist” has an instantly striking, mysterious Andean / Peruvian melodic influence that harks back to cultures shrouded in the mysteries of time, creating a truly haunting track. “Uncharted” is equally hypnotic and enthralling and yet distinctly different. Henry is using a lot of analogue vintage gear to create his music, which is giving him a very distinct sound, a path that will lead to his hotly awaited debut artist album (due out in April 2013) on which he will delve totally into and explore an analogue world (www.wearehenrysaiz.com).

Henry's critically acclaimed “Balance 019” album, released in 2011, was the catalyst for his star potential explode around the globe. His superb collaboration with Guy J (“Meridian”) and his solo track (“La Marea”) for the landmark Bedrock 100 release, were of the highest level of quality and his most recent release, “Our Discovery” (Natura Sonoris), became a huge Ibiza hit this summer, with supporters including John Digweed, Sasha, M.A.N.D.Y., Luciano, Visionquest, Danny Howells and many others. Henry Saiz is undoubtedly an extraordinarily talented young producer who is simply too exciting to be ignored!

I am in to electronic and House music with organic soundscapes, voices, memories and feelings. But the both the darker and more light and melodic House attracts me. 

Often with traces from the past back to the 90'ies, when I started to rave. But I allways try to tell a story but also adapt to the time, place, audience and dance floor

In 2017 I startet a private party called Simpel House  (Before Simpel House Klub /Club). It is now a legendary underground event/pop-up club that takes place in different places and once in a while. It is a unique night event / club in Denmark. 

Mainly with events in Copenhagen Denmark. We have a couple of other DJ's as residents, and nice crew of dedicated team and volunteers. We have had also had a lot of great DJ's from Denmark and abroad to com e and play.

I play for the most at private house or techno parties/events in Copenhagen, Denmark. I have also played at major clubs and parties like @Module, @Culture Box, Odds and Ends, HAVEN, Ved Siden Af (VSA), KB18, NGBG Streetparty in Malmö Sweden 2022.
