⚰️ “Iron Halo (Descent)” is the sound of clarity returning through pain.

The title is a contradiction — a halo made of iron.
Something holy repurposed into armor, or perhaps a cage.

The lyrics explore the tension between redemption and regression:
“They called it mercy — I called it chains.”

🎧 The instrumentation is cinematic Drum & Bass — fast but heavy, filled with static reverb and haunting vocal ghosts.
Every snare hits like a memory resurfacing.

The production feels like a heartbeat trying to sync after trauma — pulsing, mechanical, alive but not whole.

It’s about realizing that survival came with a cost: the soul sterilized in exchange for safety.

The false gods of Digital Eden are collapsing again —
“We polished the cage until it shined.”

This is the moment the survivors understand:
victory without humanity is just a quieter kind of death.

The halo rusts, and the descent begins.

 I love deep records and I love techno records. But as a producer I really feel at home making house tracks with a serious beat and a load of tongue-in-cheek on top - I feel like I may have perfected that here. LOL! I just made it for a bit of fun but since playing it out it's really been going off, so that's when I decided to put it out.

2016 proved to be the year for Nhan Solo's Mother Recordings and they look set to continue the success through to 2017 as label regular Superlover steps up with his 'Kiss EP'.
