Die Electro Swing Elite, kurz ESE, startete im Sommer 2013 den ersten Teil der B2B DJ-Mix-Reihe und kurz darauf folgte auch schon der Elite-Mix Volume 2. Gemixt werden Tracks aus dem Genre Electro Swing, die jeweils von mehreren selektierten und renommierten DJ’s, mit internationalem Format, zu einem gesamten Set fusioniert werden, soweit das Konzept. Blue Mondays is the artistic union of Italian underground talents Alex Ferrazzi and Keemani: after debuting their first works on the VA Memento012, the duo went on to release on labels such as Sonar Kollektiv, Snatch! Records and Manocalda gaining a cult following among the more experimental House Music fanatics. Their breakthrough came in the summer of 2013 when they were invited by Luciano to take the stage at his Ibiza party at Ushuaïa, giving them the chance to bring their blend of dope beats, smoked out samples and nu Disco to the flashy crowds of the White Island. With their LP “All Cats Are Blue” they’re back on Idriss D’s imprint: opening Intro “If You Need To Go From 105 To 115” is atmospheric, its synth arpeggio drenched in background noises;“Talk To People”is upbeat and lively: its rolling bassline and manic organ refrain play along ethereal vocals; “Holes”’s live bass and guitar riff are reminiscent of 80s New Wave, synth textures all around the rock vibes. The title track’s nine minutes are filled with imposing keyboard melodies, while a pulsating bassline underpins a multilayered emotional composition; “Dig It, Understand It” evolves around two parts: the first half is spaced out, with flutes playing, retaining a live improvisational feeling, while second half’s Acid influences are delightfully twisting. “I Shine”’s lounge and balearic, sun soaked and sweet; “E Dagara” (with Gabin Dabiré) has bells and whistles all around, a lot of ethnic influences that create a delicate and soft mood; “Nerd Technique”’s pounding kick drum opens up to a Kraftwerkian Electronica piece, while “Lines” is percussive and features a dark intriguing singing. “Silent People”’s field recordings flow through a groovy rhythm; “ILMRDMMRD” is dancey and trippy, with a bunch of loopy stabs to add colour and spice. “Tropicale”’s horns and strings are gentle and sophisticated, and “Rehab Of The Bored Jack” is a playful little ditty.

We welcome a stalwart of the Belfast Techno scene to The Poeticast this week in the form of Producer and sublime DJ Garillo Dansek. Garillo is a purveyor in Dark, pounding Techno that is designed to rattle your very senses and hypnotize your soul. 

 

After many years going under the guise of the very successful techno duo Miniminds who have released on many succesful labels such as Harthouse, Global Underground, Phobiq, Respekt, Rekluse, 8 Sided Dice and many more , Gary Dickenson has started his own solo project 'Garrillo Dansek', sticking to the sound he loves heavy energetic techno it is filed under, if you cant dance to it there is something wrong.

 

He has already be getting massive support from all the big hitters with his first release being signed to the massive Slap Jaxx Music, run by Angel Alanis. He has already had massive remixes released on Illegal Alien Records, The End Recordings and more EPs coming soon especially on the already ever growing Frakture Audio.

Die Magie der Unwissenheit... in 3 elektronischen Neuinterpretationen wird sie zur hochgradig tanzbaren Hymne für Lebemenschen. Als Grundlage dient ein deutsch-spanischer Song von Illute. In Viva La Ignorancia besingt sie nämlich die nicht vorhandene Notwenigkeit, immer alle Details zu kennen. Zur musikalischen Begleitung kommen im ursprünglich auf LasVegas Records erschienenen Titel erdige Bläserklänge, temperamentvolle Gitarren und handgemachte Rhythmik zum Einsatz. Eine Mischung, die natürlich voll und ganz ins Beuteraster von Kombinat100 passt. Für ihren Remix hatte die illustre Truppe eine klassische Guitaren-Session mit Jörg Schwenzer. Das Ergebnis ist eine faszinierend stimmige Mischung aus Strophen, Refrains und eingängigem, elektronischem Groove. Der zusätzliche Instrument Mix liefert einen stark hitverdächtigen Ausflug in Kombinat100’s einzigartiges Wunderland der blubbernden Bässe, tänzelnden Delays und verspielten Filtermodulationen. Nicht zuletzt gelingt auch dem Berliner Duo dingdongdilly eine mitreißende Vermählung von Songstruktur, knackigen Beats und zündendem Club-Schub.



The bliss of ignorance... is the inspiration for 3 electronic remixes, 3 highly danceable anthems for all hedonists. Their basic idea is a German-Spanish song by Illute. In Viva La Ignorancia she reminds the listener that it is not always necessary to know about all the details. The title, originally released on LasVegas Records, comes with the organic sound of wind players, with vivacious guitars, and with lots of hand-made rhythms. Quite obviously this mixture is a perfect match for Kombinat100. So the illustrious combo had a classic guitar-session with Jörg Schwenzer. The result is an intriguing melange of verses, refrains, and catchy electronic grooves. Also the instrumental mix has everything it takes to become a hit, even without the vocal part: Kombinat100 take the listener on a ride to their wonderland of bubbling bass lines, bouncy delays, and playful filter modulations. Last but not least also dingdongdilly, a duo from Berlin, manages to create a seamless connection of song structure, crunchy beats, and high-octane club boost.
