Crossfade Sounds welcomes Belgian producer Dream Cycle Inc. for his label debut with the It Feels Like Healing EP. The project is the creative outlet of Jan, an artist whose formative years were shaped by the adventurous spirit of the 90s, when labels such as Planet Dog and acts like Eat Static, Banco De Gaia, and Future Loop Foundation fused trance, dub, ambient, and drum & bass into forward-thinking hybrids. These early influences, together with the psychedelic voyages of compilations like Feed Your Head and Dubnology, continue to resonate in Dream Cycle Inc.'s work, where echoes of techno-infused dub and liquid drum & bass find their way into deep, meditative frameworks.

The EP features two original compositions from Dream Cycle Inc., each reflecting his passion for bridging atmospheres with rhythm and narrative. Adding depth to the release, Belgian artist ZeroA returns to the label with two reworks that leans into his own textured aesthetic, while Romanian producer Silishteanu delivers an alternate interpretation, both remixers being well-regarded names within the Crossfade Sounds catalogue.

Noch völlig gedankenverloren unterzeichne ich einen Vertrag, der mir von meinem Gegenüber unter die Nase gehalten wird. Den Inhalt kenne ich ja vom Gespräch denke ich mir und lasse das Beamtendeutsch links liegen.
„Wunderbar, willkommen im Team! Wir werden uns in den nächsten Tagen bei ihnen melden und dann gemeinsam mit ihnen besprechen,  wie wir die Welt etwas lauter machen können. Bis dahin können sie sich ja schon mal ein paar Gedanken machen, welche Stärken sie bei ComRa einbringen können. Es war mir eine Freude sie kennenzulernen. Leider muss ich mich an dieser Stelle verabschieden. Ich habe noch weitere Verpflichtungen, sie verstehen das sicherlich.“ Der Mann steht auf und zwinkert mir zu. Wir scheinen auf einer Wellenlänge zu sein. Kurz darauf wischt er mit dem Finger über sein Smartphone und die Wand hinter ihm öffnet sich. So etwas habe ich noch nie zuvor gesehen. Es war vorher gar nicht zu erkennen, dass sich in der Wand eine Öffnung befindet. Der grau gekleidete Mann tritt aus dem Raum in einen kleinen Flur und die Tür schließt automatisch hinter ihm. Wenn man nur für ein paar Sekunden den Blick abgewendet hätte, hätte man denken können der Erdboden hätte den Mann verschluckt. Vom Mann und der Tür war nichts mehr zu sehen. Diese Zentrale scheint hochmodern zu sein.
Ich bin gut gelaunt und freue mich auf meine neuen Aufgaben als Zukunftsgestalter der Musik in dieser bereits äußert futuristisch anmutenden Firma. Mein Geist entwickelt einen ungeahnten Tatendrang. Ich kann es kaum erwarten mit meiner visionären Arbeit zu beginnen. Doch wie geht es jetzt eigentlich weiter. Wie genau soll ich denn eigentlich arbeiten? Plötzlich schwirren mir dutzende Fragen durch den Kopf, die ich dem charismatischen Mann gern noch gestellt hätte. „Sie sehen besorgt aus? Haben sie ein wenig Geduld, alle ihre Fragen werden bald beantwortet werden. Wir bringen sie erstmal nach Hause.“ Munterte mich einer meiner Begleiter auf, welcher mich in das Büro geführt hatte.

Solltet ihr auch gerade die Übersicht verloren haben und braucht einen kleinen gedanklichen Neustart, nehmt euch die Zeit und hört die deep story von Aektschn. Oder wie er es sagen würde:
