Majority of the lyrics for this I wrote over 4 or 5 Years ago after reading "Pilgrims Progress" and loving the language and old fashioned style of the story. Finished it off with the help of Phil Short (particularly the cool medieval sounding guitar at the beginning) a few weeks back. Hope people like this initial mix. Changes will probably be made soon... but thought I would see what people thought.

Tom Petty's music has come in and out of my life as long as I can remember> I think I probably first heard him on a Traveling Wilbury's LP when I was about 9, and was mystified by his voice. 
Since then whenever I've heard his music, I've known something special, for better or worse was going to happen. 

I've always harbored a wish to record 'Crawling back to you', but I've never had the nerve so this will have to do.
