I am a hollow tree
the name my mom gave to me
i'll keep you warm and wrap you in my leaves
i'll fight the swarms and get you honey from those bees

I lay on the grass
sun on my face, watch as the days pass
all the little aphids asleep in the beds
they don't need to worry what the old owl says
I will brave the cave and scare away the bear
with the luck I've saved from the foot of a wild hare

ill scare away those bears
