This the remade extended version of our Men I Trust Edit. For the story we didn’t manage to get the rights so we replay elements by elements (piano bass drums vocals …) all the parts of the original song and we remade our edit of the new track !

The process took us 5 month of re-recording and listening in studios. We made our friends listen eyes closed so that they couldn’t recognize which one was which until it was even hard for us to recognize it !

Of course there will always be  differences and the tracks will never exactly be the same but we are really proud of the result after all this work and hope you like it too ❤️

In the midst of his breakthrough North American tour with sold out dates across the continent, Brazilian sensation Mochakk has taken the dance scene by storm in 2022. Born Pedro Maia, Mochakk is a 22-year-old sensation whose thrilling persona behind the decks matches his prolific production. Growing up in the midst of fashion, hip-hop, and skating culture, he attended fashion school for six months and found his musical start as a beatmaker before eventually pivoting to electronic music full-time. Following his discovery of house music in particular, he became a dedicated student of the genre and used that to his advantage as he progressively made waves in his home country of Brazil, both as a meticulous producer and mesmerizing performer. In recent months, his presence has gone global as he’s embarked upon an expansive North American tour with multiple sold out dates in tow, dominated a laundry list of festivals internationally, done B2B sets with the likes of Vintage Culture, and is now headed toward a slot at the sacred stages of Ibiza this summer. With standout releases like “False Need” via Black Book alongside an exponentially growing fanbase with over 1 million followers, not to mention a smash forthcoming remix for The Martinez Brothers and a brilliant collaboration with the ever-inventive Chloé Caillet, Mochakk is prepared for his breakout moment in the underground and the main stage alike.

Jamie Jones, the world-renowned DJ/producer, label boss of seminal imprint Hot Creations and member of the cross-genre band Hot Natured, launches a new label project this March as he adds a musical side to his longstanding Paradise event series by welcoming Los Angeles’ Dateless for the imprint’s first release.

Building on the lauded success of the brand’s iconic Ibiza events at DC10 and Amnesia, plus shows across the globe and throughout Miami Music Week, ADE and Sonar OFF Week, the label looks set to showcase Jones’ early musical influences and the music behind the party’s roots, while unveiling a glimpse into its future with records made for iconic moments.

Speaking on the concept, Jones notes, “People sometimes ask me why I called the Paradise parties, Paradise… Well, it was named after the Paradise Garage. I’ve always dreamt of what it would be like to attend one of Larry Levan’s famous parties. And when the opportunity to do a party in Ibiza came along, I envisioned an eclectic, colourful party as the morning sun came up filled with different types of people. No one caring about anything except for the unity, the vibe and the journey of the music”.

He adds, “With Paradise records, I wanted to go back to the original vision and release records that can be played in those special moments when the vibe is thick, and the energy is right”.

The first release comes from rising US talent Dateless, following releases via Jones’ own Hot Creations and Hottrax imprints alongside Solid Grooves, VIVa, Saved and his own label Thanks For Sending, as he unveils the vibrant sounds of ‘Geekin’.

‘Geekin’ (my story in a nutshell, if you will) comes from the feeling of necessity. I found myself unmoved by the general house scene, so I started listening closer than ever to the house music that still moved me. One of the artists that helped elevate my craft at the time was Toman; maybe we’ll be friends after this. What do you think, Toman!? Haha. I’m sure those who know me can feel my personality come out in this record. Whatchu know ‘bout this? Huh!” - Dateless.

A funk-fuelled cut combining resonant bass licks, shuffling organic drums and signature hooky vocals, ‘Geekin’ unveils a melting pot of house and disco influences, both new and old, providing visions of sun-soaked terraces and bustling dancefloors.

Jamie Jones’ Paradise Music imprint welcomes a stacked EP as Mata Jones, Alfrenk, and Mikey V combine  across three tracks for ‘Love’. 

The newly-launched musical hub and platform for his world-renowned event series, Jamie Jones’ Paradise Music  imprint has quickly become a premiere outlet for quality productions across the house sphere, and unsurprisingly  so, given the ethos of the label to replicate those magical dance floor moments created in Ibiza and beyond. Diving  right into the heart of summer with a trio of tracks made for sun-soaked, blissful moments, the label’s fourth  release welcomes three talents from across the globe as Italy’s Mata Jones and Alfrenk link up with California 
based DJ, producer and vocalist Mikey V as they combine to deliver ‘Love’. 

“For me, Paradise is the label of dreams. I’ve always identified with Jamie’s projects and his vision as an  artist, both musically and in how he conceives and approaches his DJ sets during his Paradise parties.” -  Mata Jones.  

Opening the release, Jones links with LA’s Mikey V for the bumping grooves of ‘Nope!’, with vibrant guitar riffs,  shimmering hats, and crisp drum licks working alongside the infectious vocal hooks to guide the production for a  resonant and playful trip. Next, Jones steps out solo on the title track ‘Love’ as he draws for classic house  influences and iconic melodies while introducing rousing strings before linking with fellow Italian Alfrenk and the  returning Mikey V for ‘So Serious’ - bringing rolling organic percussion, sonorous bass patterns and further alluring  vocals for a terrace heater.
