True to their name, Avial (a mixed-vegetable delicacy) blends Malayalam Poetry with Contemporary Alternative Rock Music.

With elements of Indie Rock and Folk Music underlying an electronic feel, Avial’s music has overcome language barriers not only in India but is also drawing fans across the sub-continent and the globe. It has an increasing fan following, with a revolutionary approach in today’s
contemporary music scene in India.

The band members come from an in-depth musical background, with a diverse exposure of working with different bands before they could come together. In search of something more intrinsic, with a sense of belonging, Avial discovered and articulated the expression in their own mother tongue, dared to express their music with their self-titled debut album.

A rising star in the world of music, George Varghese, from India, now based in Seattle, is capturing audiences with his innovative style of playing instrumental rock showcasing his technical finesse on the guitar through the melody, drama and emotional journey of his compositions. He is a guitar player and music producer at Verge Studios, Seattle.

He is currently touring to showcase music from his first album release " Back In Time”.

His music can be described as high energy rock, progressive ballads, with influences from some of the best known guitarists of the day. He draws inspiration from legends like Joe Satriani, Eric Clapton, Van Halen, Steve Lukather, Ritchie Sambora, John Petrucci, Steve Vai and Neil ZaZa.

In India, George has proved his mettle in the field of music, for he has been awarded "best lead guitarist" in seven national competitions. He has performed his original instrumentals and covers of artists like Joe Satriani and even performed the opening act before an audience of 28,000 at a Brian Adams concert in India.

George's latest album, "Back In Time" gives an idea of his versatility. It is a blend of progressive rock instrumentals with the Indian influence of the flute, violin and tabla. 

George is currently touring, to share his music from his first release "Back In Time", with the rest of the world.

George looks forward to writing and producing more instrumentals and vocals, and through Verge Studios he offers a helping hand to budding talents. He hopes this to be a platform to launch future stars for the music world.
