i'm having those dreams again, when i wake up and you are here. and it's getting to be so hard to wake up alone everyday. the world turns so slowly everyday and tensions build a little more and more. opinions clash till the walls will break. i'm accustomed to you like a ghost, i feel you with me always a part of me. and should it be i never see you again, you'll know where to find me. and when the bombs decide to fall i'll pack my things and get into my car. when everything in this world is gone you'll find me waiting baby... in the hills... find me in the hills when the world is at its end, when those bombs finally decide to come down.

I am of French Huguenot descent, born in Africa, a kind of African Cajun, and my love of music has always encompassed the rather wide range of Blues, Bluesrock, Rock, Rock ‘n Roll, Country and Metal, but also Jazz, Mexican and other Latin forms of music. In spite of the fact that my family have lived in Africa since 1688, there is very little contemporary African influence in my music. So what! I play what I love to play, and that’s that. I have several bands, Erongo Conspiracy and  BluesRock & Country Inc., but they consist only of me.  Here on the wild Atlantic coast in one of the remotest spots and the oldest desert on earth, the Namib, with not a blues/country/rock musician in sight, I do it on my own: with the help of my seven trusty old guitars, plus all of my Production Software and studio equipment. I compose the music, write the lyrics,  do the vocals, the mixing and the tweaking. I am a kind of one-man-band. ﻿I’m in love with rocking rhythms, hot guitars, my lyrical Strat, wild fiddles, funky Saxophones, rocking harps, honest resophonic guitars, growling organs. I love to experiment with the unbelievable potential of electronics. My approach is often eclectic: I refuse to be restricted to one style or category of music, and I use whatever I feel is right for a specific song. But most of my songs have an unmistakably bluesy and rock touch. If any band or singer out there would like to honour me by using any of my songs, you'd be most welcome to do so. I'll give you a special permission to do so, obviously without any charge.

Six and twelve is a recording project done by Jonathan Spradling, and includes additional artists from time to time. I am a recording artist based in north carolina and music is a passion and a hobby.  I have no ambitions with music except to create, collaborate and share it.
