The sacred chant ‘Salve Regina’ is a beautiful thing and to paraphrase Stewart Copeland and Caroline Shaw ‘...transcends religion itself’. This is one of a few rearrangements/improvisations I’ve tried. The harmony etc. is still there but the tele leads the way.

I like many am shocked and appalled at what is unfolding before us. In the midst of this darkness I salute the people who are opening their hearts and offering assistance to the refugees from this disastrous conflict.

This song features Dave Cooper on vocals and rhythm guitar.  This is a variation on a song I wrote a little while back and placed on YouTube.  I play mandolin and fiddle on this version.  Dave Cooper added new music and melody for the original lyrics.
