This song was written in Nov 2021 during a composition challenge, in a limited time (4 hours). At this time, it was obviously a very small part of it, blurred in reverb, not mixed and sung in only one shot. 
After some digging and mixing, I'm pleased to show you here the entire song. As usual, my voice is not supposed to be definitive here. I just want to show the intention. Any collaboration proposal with a singer is welcome.

Speed Limit (Rock Version )

This is a song I came up with, playing my five string fretless bass along with essentially a click track. I then invited everyone to share their talents on it, too. Ken (K2 and the Three, and K2 and the Four) came up with exactly the drums I was hoping for, strong and accentuating what I'm doing on the bass. JJ's (J.J. Terrell) keys gave it the character of a lighter, funkier jam and completely awakened a new sound within the song by adding a great, catchy riff that flows throughout. Tez (Llanpsych) added some magnificent guitar leads, as I've come welcomingly to expect from him. You can really hear his fiery guitar throughout the whole verse and first section, and at the end, too. Steve (Steve's Planet) added the vocals and wrote the original lyrics, too. His strong, creative singing really helped jump this into the category of a song, rather than a jam. He also showed us that he's willing to follow us anywhere creatively, and very boldly, too. Stephen (TexMex Shaman) added the wild, thrilling guitar solo in the crescendo section, as well as the guitar riffs at the end. He also brought the whole thing together by expertly and meticulously producing and mixing it. Ken and Tez both added some mastering to the final mix, too. We all hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we did putting it together.

Second Floor (Steve's Planet with Eclectic Collective)

Recorded some of this with one of my grandfathers SEARS microphone that I inherited 25 years ago along with a lot of Stan Getz and Benny Goodman/Buddy Rich records.  R.I.P. gramps and coincidentally that SEARS burned down long after he retired, and I had nothing to do with it! Well o.k. even though I was arrested for shop lifting a Loudness cassette(asian METAL) at 13 by two CIA level security guards posing to be a couple pushing a stroller, i swear i harbor no bitterness!. I remember being handcuffed and led out of the mall screaming I was innocent and didn't even like loudness!, Must of seemed funny to them as i was rocking a Loudness shirt...Sorry Gramps and all you 10 people that hear this can blame SEARS if the drums sound like shit on this one.

This is a little piece I put together when was on a mini vacation in Santa Barbara, Ca at the end of June. Fueled by a couple of Anderson Valley Summer Solstice  Ales and grinning with headphones on, it conveys the chill vibes of relaxing and recharging in the summer. I actually forgot it was in my files , so now it’s up to share.

Forgetting All We Know (With Wheelwright)

This song is part of a bigger project. I really like making sets like “The Couch King Sofa Barn” and “The Horror Host” but they take a long time to make and I don’t think SoundCloud loves the long song format. A number of us are almost finished with another song in this project. I am excited to hear how the whole thing turns out. Massive thanks to everyone presently involved and all my future collaborators in these crazy visions. I hope everyone is having fun on the cloud. I feel like this can be a very fun time for the SoundCloud community as we have all matured and know ourselves in relation to music better. 

This song got started when another rapper first asked me to collaborate with him. He sent me a beat, but I tend to want to focus on original music from our community so I asked Joerxworx if he wanted to work on a beat with only horns in a New Orleans marching funeral band style. Joerxworx agreed and provided me with massive horns to work with! The other rapper was no longer interested by now in working with me so I asked Jon Lock if he wanted to join in and fortunately he agreed, cause I love his funky soulful vocal stylings! Russell did an amazing job mixing and mastering my sloppy drums and the rest of the track to perfection. I was also very fortunate that Wou-Wou & the Wormling was willing to collaborate on art work for this track, fully completing the spirit of community collaboration!
