Grammy-nominated Italian-Venezuelan composer Alvaro Paiva-Bimbo has been a member of the music teams that composed and produced the scores of pictures such as: Academy Award nominee Bardo (Alejandro González-Iñárritu/Netflix), Multi-Grammy Award winner & Academy Award winner Encanto (Disney), The Invitation (Jessica Thompson/Sony Pictures), The Tender Bar (George Clooney/Netflix), The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent (Nicolas Cage), Qazaq (Oliver Stone), 37 Words (ESPN), Little Ellen (Ellen DeGeneres/HBO), Cherish the Day (Ava DuVernay/Oprah Winfrey Network), Patriot (Steve Conrad/Prime), Cuando Sea Joven (Eugenio Derbez/Lionsgate), Curious George 6 (Peacock), et al. Alvaro’s music for film and tv projects like Free Color, 3 Beauties, The Turn, or Leave Us Here, has been recognized in festivals in Palm Springs, LA, Detroit, Mexico City and Caracas. He is an in-demand collaborator for several top composers in Hollywood: Germaine Franco, Carlo Siliotto, Dara Taylor, Heitor Pereira, Eduardo Aram, Kenny Burgomaster, Genevieve Vincent, Joshua Moshier, Stanley A. Smith & Alex Wurman.

As a producer, orchestrator or performer he has worked with: Diane Warren, Luis Enrique, Gustavo Dudamel, Becky G, Guaco, Alejandra Guzmán, Bryce Dessner, Nella, La Vida Bohème, Carla Morrison, Ilan Chester, Anat Cohen, Servando Primera, Ralph Irizarry, Ximena Sariñana, Simon Bolívar Orchestra among hundreds of artists from very different music genres. Alvaro produced, arranged and conducted on the record "Repeat after me" of Los Amigos Invisibles, nominated at The 58th Grammy Awards as Best Latin Rock / Alternative Album. He was the guitarist for “3rd Element”, by Luisito Quintero (Chick Corea, Richard Bona),  nominated as Best Latin Jazz Album at The 15th Latin Grammy Awards. Produced “Adagio for Strings, a Mother's Love”, by Juan Camilo Arboleda, nominated for Best Classical Contemporary Composition at The 23rd Latin Grammy Awards.

Paiva-Bimbo has toured five continents with his ensembles Cabijazz (salsa/jazz), Kapicúa (Venezuelan roots), and Movida Acústica Urbana, producing and releasing ten records. His albums “Rock & MAU” Vol I & II led a revival of Venezuelan folklore music, playing more than four hundred concerts, and unprecedentedly bringing young audiences closer to the rich musical tradition of his native country.

This tradition is strongly present in Paiva-Bimbo’s compositions, whose songs and works have been recorded by several jazz & classical artists. Among others, Multi-Grammy winners latin funk band Los Amigos Invisibles recorded his song "No se me olvidó" in their most recent album "Cool Love", famous opera tenor Aquiles Machado recorded his Canción Venezolana “Te espero”; and virtuoso trumpet player Pacho Flores recorded his Danza Zuliana “Soy tu ayer” in his  album “Cantar” (Deutsche Grammophon).

Alvaro studied Composition, Classical Guitar, Jazz, and Conducting at Manhattan School of Music, Universidad Central de Venezuela, and the Pedro Nolasco Colón Conservatory. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, and speaks four languages.

Fletcher Sheridan has been singing professionally for over 25 years, and has been a part of some amazing projects. Having made a name for himself as an outlier of versatility, his background spans the classical, jazz and pop worlds.
 
Fletcher’s credits are a veritable who’s who of the musical world – John Williams, Michel Jackson, Sir Paul McCartney, and Bobby McFerrin to name a few. He has sung on over 300 projects for film, and TV. He has toured all over the world with Danny Elfman, helping him bring the characters of Halloween Town to life in Nightmare Before Christmas: Live.  He has also toured the United States with Hans Zimmer and Portugal. The Man., performing with them at Coachella. In the choral/classical world, Fletcher was a member of the prestigious Los Angeles Master Chorale, and sang with the Grammy-Award® winning Los Angeles Chamber Singers. In the pop/jazz/a cappella word, he was a member of m-pact, True North, and is currently a member of Clare Fischer’s vocal group 2+2.

Bringing all of his experiences together, Fletcher has become a sought-after vocal arranger and vocal producer. He has gone on to contract vocal sessions for film, TV, and live entertainment.

To realize its mission, fivebyfive presents programs featuring today’s chamber music by commissioning, developing, and performing the works of living artists, advocating for creators who are underrepresented in the field, collaborating with a wide range of partners, and presenting free or affordable programs that are welcoming to people of all abilities in venues that ensure accessibility.
