Eric has inspired millions as composer, conductor, innovator, broadcaster and charismatic public speaker. His compositions rank among the most popular and frequently performed of the early 21st century, their reach broadened since 2010 by the extraordinary success of his online Virtual Choir project. Light & Gold, his first album as composer and conductor, won the 2012 Grammy® Award for Best Choral Recording and instantly topped the US and UK classical album charts.

Born in Nevada, he discovered a passion for choral music while studying at UNLV and he began composing soon after. He went on to study at the Juilliard School of Music in New York under John Corigliano. Many of his choral compositions, Cloudburst, Lux Aurumque and Sleep among them, have entered the standard choral repertoire and his orchestral music has been performed by some of the world’s most distinguished orchestras both sides of the Atlantic. Eric is currently Composer-in-Residence at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge University, UK.

A distinguished speaker, Eric has been invited to address the UN Leaders Programme, give the closing plenary at Davos World Economic Forum and to speak for UNICEF and Google among others. He has appeared twice on the main stage at the global TED conference in Long Beach CA, earning standing ovations on both occasions. Recent Virtual Choir projects include ‘Glow’ written for the Winter Dreams holiday show at Disneyland© Adventure California and the Virtual Youth Choir, in association with UNICEF, which premiered at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. Broadcast live to 119 countries worldwide, Eric made his iTunes Festival debut with his professional choir in 2014, inviting multi award-winning composer and conductor Hans Zimmer to join him on stage. The performance was consequently released as a live album. Eric returned to the Minnesota Orchestra for a second residency in 2015 culminating in three performances at Orchestra Hall.


A multi-instrumentalist, producer, songwriter, arranger, and solo artist, Andrew Gold played a pivotal role in the Southern California musical scene that spawned such Elektra/Asylum superstars as Linda Ronstadt, Jackson Browne, and the Eagles.

The scion of a Hollywood musical family – his father was Academy Award-winning film composer Ernest Gold, his mother famed playback singer Marni Nixon – Gold was a member of the influential L.A.-based folk-rock band, Bryndle, alongside Karla Bonoff, Wendy Waldman, and former Stone Poneys guitarist Kenny Edwards. In 1974, he began collaborating with another erstwhile member of the Stone Poneys in Ronstadt, for whom he would serve as de-facto musical director on three consecutive Billboard 200 #1 albums.

Asylum released Gold’s self-titled solo debut in 1975 to widespread critical acclaim. He scored his first top 10 hit the next year with “Lonely Boy,” featuring Ronstadt on backing vocals. In 1978, Gold returned to the pop charts with “Thank You For Being A Friend,” later to become famous as the theme song to NBC’s beloved sitcom, The Golden Girls.

In addition to his multi-platinum work with Ronstadt, Gold has played with, written songs for, or produced a veritable who’s who of pop, including Art Garfunkel, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, James Taylor, Stephen Bishop, 10cc, Cher, and Carly Simon. What’s more, in 1996 his became the first human voice to be broadcast on Mars when his rendition of “The Final Frontier” – aka the theme song to the Paul Reiser/Helen Hunt sitcom, Mad About You – was used to wake up the Mars Pathfinder space probe.

The seamless sixteen-song collection – produced by Michael Dinallo and Tim Carter on Memphis International Records –already has turned heads far and wide. “The Dinallos is a beautiful blend of traditional rock and roll and singer-songwriter elements,” noted Nashville-based singer-songwriter Rod Picott says. “The tones are gorgeous. Michael Dinallo’s authoritative guitar work is set elegantly against Juliet’s sometimes playful, sometimes fiery vocals.” “I loved working with Michael on the wonderful Charlie Rich tribute record Feel Like Going Home: The Songs of Charlie Rich,” echoes legendary songwriter and instrumentalist Will Kimbrough. “Same with singing with Juliet on ‘Purgatory Road.’ I’m glad to be part of real, honest, heartfelt music.”
