Greedy - Tate McRae (Violin Cover)

Jonathan Joel is an emerging pop artist who puts artistry into motion every time he takes the stage. With dynamic vocals accompanied by breath-taking violin playing, this NY-based musician creates a one-of-a-kind oasis for his audience to let loose and express themselves.
 
Jonathan began his musical career at the tender age of four playing in church and could read music by age six. From humbling beginnings, he learned to hone his craft under the watchful eye of his mother who is a music teacher/band director. He continued to develop his skills throughout high school by playing in several orchestras and symphonies. By the time he was attending college, J was writing and producing his own electronic music while discovering his unique sound.

Ready to share his creative vision with the world, J moved to Nashville where he debuted his first single "Stronger" in the fall of 2017. Shortly after, he released his empowering, yet sultry, pop song, “Mascara.” 
As a self-proclaimed anomaly, J strives to empower others to embrace who they are through his art.

“For me, it’s about all the pieces-the music, lyrics, choreography and styling-coming together to create a beautiful story that connects with others. I hope when people listen to my music they feel free and liberated to remove any masks that they may be hiding behind and live more authentically.” 

J draws inspiration from an array of artists and genres ranging from pop culture icons like George Michael and Britney Spears to more classical influences like Lindsey Stirling and string quartet Bond. 

The avant-garde artist is on a mission to reclaim creativity and bring beauty to the world one song at a time. 

“I want to be a creative force that positively impacts people in an unconventional way. My music pushes the typical pop boundaries by incorporating idiosyncratic sounds from my classical, pop, electronic, and gospel roots.” 

Ultimately, Jonathan hopes he will be able to use his own story to inspire people to pursue their own passions, and live a life of meaning and purpose.
