Michael Brandvold is a freelance music marketing consultant based in Northern California. Having launched Michael Brandvold Marketing to leverage his years of experience to provide digital strategy to large and small clients in the areas of online & social marketing as well as e-commerce and fan acquisition and retention.

Gene Simmons of KISS first tapped Michael's skills as a pioneering online marketing strategist to launch and manage all aspects of Kissonline.com's multi-million dollar enterprise, including their ground-breaking VIP ticket program.

Michael has also managed the online efforts for Accept, Narada Michael Walden, Jordan Rudess, SOiL, Tantric, Killer Dwarfs, Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal, Dream Theater, Andy Gibson, Alexa Carter, Greg Kihn, Little Caeser, Motley Crüe, Rod Stewart, Madonna, Ozzy Osbourne, Madonna and Britney Spears to name only a few.

Michael recently released his first ebook, KISS School of Marketing: 11 Lessons Learned While Working with KISS. He is also the founder and host of the following podcasts; The Music Biz Weekly, Rock Star Branding, Dropping The Needle and Three Sides of the Coin. He has cohosted and presented music marketing webinars and writes about his music marketing knowledge and experience on his blog at Michael Brandvold Marketing. 

Seminary Villains started in 2011 by B.J. Rust (Troops) and Russ Kramer (Jack of All Trades, Avenue) on Seminary Road in Alton, IL. After a few setbacks and personnel changes, the duo tapped James Anderson (Sifasic, Elbow Through Hammer) to play bass and Nathan Wanger (Stimulus Package, Miss Lead) to play drums.

With the new line-up the band has not looked back, releasing the self titled debut album “Seminary Villains” and playing headlining shows in Alton IL and opening for national touring acts in St. Louis MO in support of its release. 
Based on the foundation of Rock, Punk and Metal, Seminary Villains continues to build on their unique rock and roll sound, drawing from many different musical influences, namely, Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters, Misfits, Black Flag, Metallica, Fu Manchu, Everclear, Nirvana and Pantera.

Kramer, on describing the Seminary Villains sound, said ” It’s a very dynamic band, sometimes it takes a hard-rock back bone with a punk face and sometimes it’s a punk back beat with some metal overtones. There are a lot of driving guitar riffs that weave in and out of Nathan’s beats. We try to write songs from the everyday experiences and let downs that everyone can relate to. “

In 2013, Seminary Villains were tapped to play the Exposed Music Festival’s “Wintour”, hosted by Jennifer “Jenncity” Arroyo of Kittie & Suicide City and also to open for Pro Skater and Viva La Bam star Bam Margera’s touring band “Fuckface Unstoppable.” Seminary Villains are already writing new material for a follow LP and are actively booking shows through the end of 2013.

The Ragged Blade Band brings its own style to the music of 1900-1930, and a little bit on either side, along with tunes by bandleader Jerry Rabushka. Hear the group at Steampunk festivals, street fairs, markets, restaurants, brewpubs and wineries, senior living, and more! We play as a full crew of six, or in smaller groups as well.
