I'm playing this classic English country dance tune for a production of Alice in Wonderland at Mill Valley Middle School, where my wife teaches. I thought it would be fun to record a quick version of the song and then I started playing around with different sound effects in Garageband... I kind of stumbled upon this pseudo-synthy vibe and thought, well, that's kind of fun. Nothing like what we are using in the show, though! This recording sounds like something you'd hear when you're on hold... maybe it would make a good ring tone? Anyway, I thought it was fun... Enjoy! :-)

Waterfall Waltz - English Country Dance Tune/Hold Music

A quick recording on the iPhone... Since moving to California five years ago, I've started many songs. So far, this is the only one I've finished writing. My darling, 5 weeks old daughter, Charlotte, can be heard in the background. I'm not sure if this song will end up on a "kids" album, but it is certainly kid friendly. She seems to like it, anyway.
