going through old VHS tapes that had been recorded over countless times then eventually stuffed away in a box for decades and you find a clip on a tape, shmooshed between tv shows, horror movies and partial ads, of a moment in time you'd forgotten ever got captured, and had almost completely disappeared from your memory.

in this sound cage some less good energies are trapped and banished, but don't be afraid ! they are like in a zoo behind bars and can be fed and gawked at... they can no longer get out because there is no key and they have been entrusted to the all-one or universe in the form of sound to watch over forever. after all, they have been transformed into something good. so let's start transforming all the bad into good !

FRACTALS

𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐝 - 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐮𝐩!!

This track began as a MIDI track I had made using Logic. The individual stem tracks were then sent to the great Dr. Zwakkus, who then added his own tracks, remixed, remastered, and often times even performed many of these tracks on real instruments to render this musical idea into a true mark of Zwakkonian brilliance.  It is to be noted that any real instruments being played (guitar, bass, vocals and drums I believe) were played by Dr. Zwakkus himself.  The end result of this made the track tower high above the original idea that I sent him, and I am extremely grateful to have had this opportunity to collab with who I consider to be, probably the most original and innovative sounding artist there is, or at least I've ever heard.  Please do check out his music if you haven't, for I guarantee it is unlike anything you've ever heard in your life.

Lead voice patch notes:
I dialed in a 16 step sequence on my NLC Bindubba, made it a 32 step sequence working the direction inputs with clocked gates. The sequence is fed through Beers ADC into Beers Melakarta making it a sudo pitch quantizer. Pitch-CV is sent to Befaco Even VCO. Even VCO feeds into a modulated Erica Synths BBD Delay/Flanger and then into Erica Synths Polivoks filter. Melakarta's gate outs are fed through Beers Edge Detector, into Sin Phi Miasma (envelope generator) to open the Polivoks filter, at the same time the other Miasma channel is feeding a ducking envelope closing the filter with every kick drum hit. A copy of this voice is fed into XAOC Sarajewo BBD delay. Aside from this last module, all other modules used are self-built DIY versions.
