This is my set for Relics Music Festical 2024. I did mean to record this live but apparently that didnt happen. Awesome time. Set had the timeslot in mind too as I played at 12:30 in the afternoon on saturday and wanted to go on a journey. Hope you enjoy!

Another track in what is turning out to be a series of donk influenced  breaks/tech/prog/ songs.  I'm still mashing up the genres and rhythms within the track but this dives deeper into the melodic 4/4 groove then ever before. I love hearing house and tech in a live environment with the crowd bouncing and this is my ode to those epic moments where the kick and hihat unite the ravers. Gotta have the gritty breakbeat breakdowns too tho!

Halifax based producer, graphic designer and DJ, JonBob is a familiar name in the East coast electronic music scene. His unique brand of uplifting Drum & Bass has seen him perform coast to coast across Canada, with multiple performances at Toronto's Bass Driven event series. He has performed for four years running at Evolve and Future Forest Festivals, and can be seen debuting his latest tunes in various nightclubs around Halifax. Co-founded LaserSquid Music in 2010 with the mission to support and promote emerging talent in the maritime region, and has organized releases featuring over 30 artists. 

Since 2005 he has released music  on the following labels; Digital Vomit (UK), Sociopath Recordings (Taiwan), Here's My Card Records (CA), Bugs Crawling Out Of People (CA), Severed Digit (CA), DTRASH (CA), and LaserSquid Music.
