'Your Way To Paradise' leads the line, a track you can hear in full premiere on When We Dip today, and it does exactly what it says on the tin. Hauy has assembled a seductive seven minute beauty that rides on a supreme groove. The backdrop is shrouded in an uplifting and hypnotic melange of melodic textures, which come together in the main breakdown around an engrossing crescendo.

The fourth EP from Manjumasi comes by way of another San Franciscan, Ben Engelberg aka Bengal. As with the previous release, this too marks the debut of a new artistic alias from a well-versed producer. Formerly releasing as BNZO on such labels as VIVa Music and Trapez LTD, Ben's highly compelling tech house grooves haven't gone unnoticed, garnering attention from the likes of major players like Steve Lawler and Luciano. After a few years break from regular releases, Ben has honed his chops and now re-emerges as Bengal. His new project showcases a different side of his character and an enhanced level of musicality. The three originals on this EP are luscious and deep, texturally rich tracks. Emotive and enchanting, melodic and mysterious. At the same time, they are driven by punchy percussive rhythms that lay a sturdy anchor on the dancefloor, a clear testament to Ben's well-honed experience delivering serious grooves.

First up on remix duty is Swiss maestro Dachshund, who has turned up the energy on Masada and delivered an oustanding club remix, combining his trademark stabby synth motifs with the more subtle melodic elements of the original - a fine pairing of strength and softness. Rounding things out is a re-interpretation of Fractal Dust by Berlin mainstay MUUI. His remix takes the original into an even deeper space, expansive sonic realms washed over with beautiful pads and melodic brushtrokes.

Canadian artist Gab Rhome makes his return to All Day I Dream this June with an appearance on the label's scintillating new Summer Sampler. The sunshine VA also includes cuts from the bossman himself Lee Burridge in collaboration with Lost Desert as well as Zone+, PHCK, Superlounge, Budakid, and Modd. Rhome, know for his exquisitely crafted melodic groovers, which includes works on the likes of Anjunadeep and Kindisch, shares a true gem for the occasion. With his remix for Active Child's track 'Johnny Belinda' Dekay once again proves his ability to turn an original track into his own piece of work. Melodic melancholic synth chords shape the body of MDK's remix approach and are set with a reserved bass line that fully unfolds its punch as the remix proceeds. Supernature’s provocative multi-artist LP, Kolors, will be released early summer. The first full album to come out of this label, Kolors is a grand opus – an artistic collaboration that merits some extended play time and inspires some serious soul searching.

Kolors is not your average compilation; the project explores the individual visual perception of color and how that compares to the unique auditory experience of music.

The 15 contributing artists have all chosen a color to define the essence of their track. The selected colors expand the traditional spectrum with on-point specifics like ‘Matt Silver,’ ‘Lunar White’ and ‘Mint Green’. Regardless how many adjectives used, everyone will see these colors differently, and that is exactly the point! The experience of colors, like music, is subjective.

The project’s rich concept adds layered depth and gives listeners an expanded auditory experience. The colors are well considered and one hears the artistic intention behind the labeling.

In a profoundly personal, artistic revelation artists also provided the reasoning behind their selection, evoking instant imagery and placing listeners in the mind of the musician. Of their track, ‘Lunar White’, John Charnis & Jimmy Maheras said, “When we wrote the song the melodies reminded us of the moments in a dark dance floor where people's faces were illuminated, whether by strobe lights and lasers, or the glow of the moon in an outdoor party.” That visual association becomes abundantly clear when one listens to the corresponding music.

After years of producing music under various guises, Jon Charnis found his true calling in the slower, darker, and deeper spheres of House music. The re-invention manifested beyond music as the former DC native relocated to the city of Los Angeles while launching his new moniker (his actual birth name). From then on it didn't take long for him to make an impression. His track 'Prophecy' was spotted by Innervisions boss Dixon, who signed the track to his prestigious Berlin based label after road testing it at some of the world's premier parties. He followed this up with an official remix of Art Department and Damian Lazarus' Burning Man anthem, ‘Robot Heart’ on No.19 records. The streak continued with releases on more top labels including All Day I Dream, Supernature, Connaisseur, and Endless.  
Jon Charnis's music receives regular support by renowned DJs such as Dixon, Lee Burridge, Tale of Us, Hernan Cattaneo, and John Digweed to name a few. As a DJ, Jon Charnis' international profile rose just as quickly. With gigs at Space, Ibiza and Sonar, Barcelona under his belt, his first year saw Jon playing across the globe at other hotspots in Berlin, Munich, London, and Amsterdam. Jon is a regular fixture at Burning Man, where routinely helms the Robot Heart bus, as well as party hotspots such as Cityfox, Zero, SXM Festival, and Modernity.
