15. Working on producing better music.

REUBENBLUE are sisters Katherine, 27, and Stella, 30, who have been playing their own blend of acoustic/ambient/rock and instrumental compositions since around 2004.
They have, together with a number of musician friends, performed gigs in a few areas of the North West.

They are both vocalists (with Kat taking up the majority of lead vocal), guitarists and co-song writers. Each of their personalities can be different but similarities are never far behind. They have a very close and unique working relationship and often describe each other as a ‘musical soul-mate’. 

Along with playing guitar, they can each play a variety of other instruments; Bodhren, percussion, bass and piano to name a few.

Stella and Kat took a temporary hiatus from ReubenBlue to focus on and complete a BA Honours degree in Music Practice at the University of Central Lancashire between 2008 and 2011. 
This degree has further enabled their musical approach and opened their creative minds to many different and complex areas of music and the art of performing. With this experience in mind they both feel that their new approach to the band, to performance and music in general will be mature, dynamic and honest.
