Future Fenyx is a sound design architect, VR world builder, and beat alchemist. I fuse heavy rhythm, digital textures, and cinematic vibes into tracks built for the future. My music is a bridge between VR landscapes, lucid dreams, and raw underground energy. From experimental beats to full-blown sonic worlds, every sound is designed to burn bright and live long after the last echo.

Animator and Film-maker working in music, arts, theatre, broadcast and education

I began my musical journey at age 7 with the piano. In my early teens, I was drawn to the guitar, inspired by icons like Slash. Alongside my two friends, all of us guitarists, we formed a band and I embraced the electric bass, recognizing its significance (alongside the drums) in modern music genres. Growing up in choirs my mother Halla Soffía Jónasdóttir sung in, I started myself singing more and more.

In my late teens, my passion for the piano resurfaced, leading me to focus on jazz piano, and a bit of bass, at FÍH music school. There, I had the privilege of learning from exceptional mentors, including Agnar Már Magnússon, Eyþór Gunnarsson, Jóhann Ásmundsson, and Sigurður Flosason.

Around the turn of this century, I was in the band KUAI which shone brightly before fading out. Throughout my journey, I collaborated with many talented musicians, yet my most enduring partnership remains with Sindri Bergmann Þórarinsson. Currently we produce music as Kanez Kane.

Au plus près de l’intime et des signes du temps, aussi loin que mène la « route du vent solaire », entre Rennes et Bruxelles, Kyoto et Nantes, Cavalier Montanari a puisé la matière de ce recueil minéral et têtu, abandonnant sa mue pour aller nue, à l’essentiel, avec ces sept chansons lignes de vie à la noirceur trouble et cotonneuse. Caroline Gabard (Boy & The Echo Choir) signe avec « Sea Songs » un retour salutaire, nouvelle escale qui la voit affiner davantage un songwriting racé entourée du fidèle Thomas Jean Henri (cabane) et de nouveaux compagnons de route, dont Géraldine Capart (Dominique A, Joy, Michel Cloup…) qui a mixé l’album en privilégiant la spontanéité et l’instinct.
