Julsy made a 20 minute music piece composed of 6 songs, connected by a F note, and all her own recordings that take shape and reappear, altered in the different sections. this is my remix/version/re-interpretation of it, following the same concept of building songs around the same elements in a continuous way, everything altering and transitioning into new parts to form one ever changing, uninterrupted soundscape.

At that time I met a stranger, her story was sad and her voice gentle.. She saw and heard what no one should.. She suffered a lot. I recorded lullaby for her to make our world quieter, less scary, cold nights warmer. Many times my music was written by empathy, maybe this one is an illusion of fear that we pass through. It seems to weep over the idea of utopia, happiness. Everything needs a little bit of silence .. Even music..

Mick Wills is a veteran of the game, having put in time behind the decks and gaining a cult following since before the days of his releasing records with the infamous International Deejay Gigolo label. Wills has long been a favorite of those in the know throughout the underground and through the years he has been known as a remixer and re-editor working with the likes of Minimal Rome and Nation to name a few. Often in his sets one will find many of his own "disco readjustments" amongst impeccably the mixed house/wave/italo/and techno rarities. Suffice to say, Mick Wills is a favorite of ours here at L.I.E.S. HQ so we are very proud to present his 2 hour plus session from the Panama Racing Club in Den Haag. Dig it!
