Vintage instruments such as the Mellotron (made popular by The Beatles), mandolin, piano, and guitar set the soundscape for Braden’s personal journey of leaving religion behind and looking at the world with fresh eyes. The song is written from the perspective of an “observer” or an alien to Earth, who is trying to understand what it means to be human. They learn that every belief system humans subscribe to is problematic when wielded with conditions and exclusivity - when in reality love should be the only condition, and loving other humans in this life just might be enough to believe in.

With the change of the season comes the rain. Especially here in the northern part of Europe. With autumn a time for reflection and melancholy. In that spirit and mood I recorded this acoustic guitar trio piece. The lead guitar plays around the themes posed by the other two guitars and sometimes escapes, or other times aligns with the harmonies and melodies...
