I've done a fair bit of tinkering with this thing over the last few weeks.  Its some sort of eerie sci-fi disco electro thing.  It uses the well known quote from J. Robert Oppenheimer recalling his experience testing the first atomic bomb.  Also a brief appearance of the Rando bot insisting that you should probably move (for unknown reasons).

The usual suspects make their appearance, a few Qsamos, EarthPlate doing the tinkly arps & MinimogueVA doing the lead stuff.  I used my Blue Snowball and the free version of Auburn Sounds Grallion 2 and some distortion, delay & EQ to do the "robot" clip.  Weird, FM radio sounding stuff was made with ld grain, a buzz machine I still don't exactly understand but its always good for interesting sounds.  

Instead of my usual tracker and samples for drums I mostly used a different vst that I have had forever called ersdrums but with a few extra samples used here and there.  It was alright I guess, but I don't know how/if it can multi-out so it kinda sucked not being able to EQ/effect the drum sounds individually.

Not exactly sure what genre you'd classify this as, its just some music you can nod your head to, and maybe even shake your posterior.  Listen to it.

This is probably the last track from the Cage Of Souls project. Yeah, I know, it's a bit dark. Greygori is a scientist and an artist focussed on enhancing his body in the most grotesque way... and doesn't even post the results on the internet.

I took my inspiration from soundtracks for computer games and plundered some of the lo-fi cinematic stuff from Cubase.

Jon Rando is just your average random guy on the internet who makes a bit of music and art in his spare time.  Alright, that's enough of this 3rd person weirdness.

I make all this stuff with Jeskola Buzz and maybe some free VST's.  I started messing around with it in the late 90's as a teen and have sort of gotten back into it as a hobby in the last several years.  I also played drums in a garage band for many years and play a bit of guitar/bass as well, though none of that here.

In addition to dabbling with music, I also do a lot of photo manipulation stuff with GIMP as a hobby as well.  Most of the track art is stuff I have altered in some way or created from scratch.

In general, most of these songs are released under CC licenses and I have downloads enabled on most of the tracks.  So you are free to use something you like for your projects if you would like.
