Hans Zimmer-Day One(Tagirov Faat Vocal Atmospheric Remix)

I couldn't resist to try to participate in this competition, although, my experience in the orchestration and in composing cinematic soundtracks is very limited. I tried to stick to the stronger side of me and make my version turn around the leading piano. Overall, I left the same original structure, making it less triumphant and epic but more emotional and longing (there comes the title of my version). I tweaked the original percussion, strings and trumpet stems a little bit and also used woodwinds and bells sections as-is. As for my additions, the main one is surely piano, then come organ & choir pads and some subtle synths. I also replaced the vocal track with my own: sticking to the original feel but also adding some back vocal and harmonies. Credit for the vocal recording and the final mixing goes to Arty as usual :)

I have another Hans Zimmer cover to share with you this week and this time it's 'Dream Is Collapsing' from Inception. This is a much heavier track than one of my previous covers of 'Time' from the same movie which many of you very kindly gave up time to watch/listen and give feedback on.

Everything you hear has all been recorded, programmed, edited, mixed and mastered by me.
