Originating from rural Hampshire, Heronshaw are an exciting new band turning heads in the capital with their fresh brand of alt-folk rock. They lace upbeat, energetic performances with intricate vocal harmonies and subtle lyrics, and their new single, 'Let Me Down Slow' has put them well and truly on the map.

Gracing London venues such as the famous Dublin Castle and Brixton Jamm since 2012, Heronshaw have made their way into the public conscience with back-to-back sell-out shows at the O2 Academy, Islington (March/April 2014) releasing their latest single, now out on iTunes, Spotify, Google Play and others.

With influences from Bob Dylan to Fleetwood Mac via Bon Iver and Ben Howard, Heronshaw use traditional folk instruments such as banjo and mandolin, mixed with acoustic guitar and keyboard breakdowns, which put a modern twist on folk rock.

Likened to the established Mumford & Sons and pop newcomers Kodaline, their vocal harmonies are a stand out feature of their music, and their live set keeps the audience on their toes with a mix of upbeat, catchy dance tunes and slower, heart-warming melodic numbers.
