Northern Logic are a Four-Piece Alternative Electronica band hailing from Lancashire. The group originally formed in February 2014 as a collaborative Electronica project with Angela Gordon (Vocals, Keys) and Colin Foster (Guitars).

Over time, the music developed and the logistical needs of the Northern Logic grew. In January 2015, Patrick Noone (Drums, Programming) and Chris Naylor (Piano, Bass) joined the outfit adding their creative fire to the band.

Since then, Northern Logic has found its roots and has transformed from a series of produced computer based files to a full live set-up. The band use a combination of live instrumentation and electronic equipment (including pre-recorded synthesized sounds and loops) to create their particular blend of Alternative Electronica. 

In March 2016, Northern Logic released their first EP 'Pages We Wrote’ which is available for downloads and streaming on iTunes and Spotify. Northern Logic are currently composing new material and are in the process of recording their first album which is being recorded at Alien Sounds, West Lancashire.

Joost Hendrickx is a drummer, composer and teacher based in London, UK. He moved to Leeds in 2005 to study jazz at Leeds College of Music and graduated in 2008 with a 1st Class BA (Hons) Degree. During his time at the college he studied with Manchester drum hero Dave Walsh and other great musicians such as Barak Schmool, Omar Puente, Matthew Bourne, Jesse Bannister, Jamie Taylor, Petter Fadness, and Mornington Lockett.

Currently Joost is living in London and working as a professional musician, both freelance and in several original projects including Shatner's Bassoon and Kefaya.
