Jamie Rosenberg aka Jamie Jar is a multi faceted artist that cares about whats going on in the scene. Formerly based in California, Jamie has found balance living in NY. Through both djing and photography they have spent hours developing their way of blending both sonics and visual expression. Inspired by artists like Levon Vincent, Job Jobse, Tini, and Pily to name a few. The sound he plays have 80’s undertones while honoring 90’s and modern house cuts with a little breaks and techno thrown in there. You never know what you will get when hearing Jamie Jar play which is what makes it fun and exciting.

As well as being one of the go to artists in Argetina and large swathes of South America, Melcure co-founder Momo Trosman is now luckily a regular in Europe too. An artist that is very much in demand across the globe, Momo has recently starred at the likes of ReSolute in New York, D-Edge in Sao Paulo, Flash in Washington, and of course many of the top parties in his home country of Argetina. With Momo’s DJ credentials constantly being proven on the most demanding of stages it is hardly surprising that he will also be playing a role in the upcoming South American adventure of Trotamundo. This year he will be taking his place at the Router hosted party space The Cave and the opening day in Montañita will go off with a bang.

In preparation for such an Ecaudorian journey we welcome Momo Trosman to our InSession series and it is clear that his travelled record bag benefits hugely from his time on the road. Keeping the beats stripped back, punchy and soaked in acid, Momo flits between electro leaning house and techno while making sure to not tire out the ear with a few stop offs in more lush territory. If you listen closely there is also a brief appearance by Prince but not as you might know him.

Werkhoven grew up in a musical family. His father was a big-time music collector and his uncle played in a funk band. Being inspired by this he embarked on his own musical journey, he started going to house and techno parties. After going to these parties he knew exactly where he would continue his journey in the world of music, it was a search to create his own sound and that sound would set him apart from the rest.
Werkhoven started producing and dj`ing, focusing on creating his own sound. He got his first professional gigs in a club formerly known as Subsonic, in Groningen. This is where he really got the chance to master his own sound meet like-minded people with the same passion for music.
About a year ago he started and event organization with two of his close friends in Groningen, they named it Plotsklaps Events. With this organization he has been able to share the stage with names like Mulder, Sandeep, Hollt, Man With No Shadow, and De Sluwe Vos. Next to that he was invited to spread his groovy sound in other cities like Amsterdam, Leeuwarden and Zwolle.
