Bergsonist‘s Truancy Volume includes the likes of Rashad Becker, Drexciya, Riccardo Villalobos & Max Loderbauer but most excitingly features five tracks by herself, including masters to aforementioned EPs and a live manipulation of P.M. Dawn’s “Set Adrift On Memory Bliss”. The mix also features a track she holds dearly that was made with her partner Greg Zifcak – the closing track is an effortless jam between the pair, created on the SH101 and TR-909. Describing the mix, Selwa says: “The idea behind this mix is to let go of things in life and go with the flow while being honest. VERY special one-off show, going b2b with my day one GAPTOOF, including a couple hot quick mixes from Brién who was in the studio with us, alongside Celia Tab! @gaptoofforgovenor

Adam (GAPTOOF) sent me a really sweet message back in 2016 I believe, saying how much he admired my photographs. It was mad sweet, because I was a huge fan of his record ‘Motorola’ that released on Soft Boy Records that same year. As a result, I was very blessed to have done artwork for his rebirth as GAPTOOF, and did a couple more for good measure since then. 

Beyond delighted to have had him on for what was an incredible show.

„I recorded the mix after a long break without thoughtful selecting, mixing and recording so I was really excited about the opportunity.
It’s a one-take reflecting on my current mood in the middle of moving houses, in the middle of a pandemic and in the beginning of a long, dark winter without the regular amusements to keep us going. 
While recording I felt a melancholic urge to stand in front of a crowd again, behind a booth, playing the music I love.“
