Twenty-five years after starting this mixtape series, SlowJams Vol 22 is here!  This tradition started back in 1998 while I was living above Walgreens in the Lower Haight, San Francisco with some of the people who made me the man I am today …..The series featured music from the deeper, “late night” end of my record collection that almost never made its’s way onto the regular DJ mixtapes we were all making in the late nineties.  Over the years I have been told that these recordings have soundtracked many of my friends lives. Their romances, their after-hours’ and their Sunday sessions.
