This set was played for my good friend, Jules birthday.  Its full of fun remixes of old school classic house tracks, that are uplifting and energizing.  I had so much fun playing this for her on that sunny day at the Phoenix Hotel on 6/12/21.

I was booked for two sets for HH009 and neither recordings worked.  Since I didn't sleep Friday night, I hopped on the decks at 9am and put this together off the cuff for the morning brunch making crew (it was appreciated by some but not by those who were still trying to sleep:)  It's a mix of some deep house tracks, old school jams, house, funk, etc.  Best listed to for Saturday or Sunday brunch or unwinding after a long day.  Enjoy!

So proud and thankful for how well everything went at Halcyon for my opening set last Saturday! The crowd was lively and the system was booming! @Brujadj killed it with the warm up and @archiehamiltonmusic straight knocked em' dead.

I'm proud to share with you a clip of this magical evening! It's one of my first all minimal tech house live sets and I hope it helps to provide an insight into some of my favorite artists in the scene, and why I feel that Archie is such an international icon.

David Bowie was an artist who could construct identities and embody them so convincingly, then deconstruct them and move on so quickly, because he knew that makeup and costumes and backstories and sexual proclivities were above all a tantalizing way to put across ideas that are more difficult to convey through pop music than through perhaps any other artistic medium.
