Works by Aaron Holloway-Nahum (b. 1983) have been performed in the UK, across Europe and in the United States by ensembles and musicians including The BBC Symphony Orchestra’s Total Immersion Days, the Philharmonia Orchestra’s Music of Today, the Royal Academy Soloists, the Isobel Griffiths Session Orchestra, the BBC Singers, Ensemble Amorpha, Ensemble Konvergence, the Cappa Ensemble, Painting Music, Paul Silverthorne, Peter Gregson, Naoko Miyamoto, Dave Worswick and Sasha Calin, and has featured on BBC Radio 3’s “Hear and Now” programme.

Aaron is currently the Artistic Director of The Riot Ensemble.  In 2012, Aaron was selected as a pilot participant on the London Symphony Orchestra ‘Soundhub’ scheme.  Recent commissions include Plainer Sailing, for the Riot Ensemble (LSO Discovery Concert), Le campane che Svaniscono, for the highSCORE Festival (Pavia, Italy),  and the faultlines of prayer for Ensemble Konvergence (Vienna & Prague; Nov. 2011).

In addition to these projects, a full-length recording project of Aaron’s music at Abbey Road Studios resulted in the CD Towards A Poorer Light, released in 2009 and available from the composer.

Jordan Randall Smith is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Music at Susquehanna University, and Music Director of Symphony Number One and Hunt's Church. He is also Conductor of the Hopkins Concert Orchestra, and Creative Director of the International Florence Price Festival. Jordan's leadership of Mahler's Fourth Symphony was praised by the Baltimore Sun: "The third movement, in particular, was quite sensitively molded." Conductor Alan Gilbert called Jordan’s conducting, “impressive.”

A 2010 Bruno Walter Fellow at the Cabrillo Festival of Contemporary Music, Smith studied with Marin Alsop and Gustav Meier and conducted the festival orchestra in concert. Jordan has recorded six commercial releases and led over 50 world premieres.

Smith has mentored hundreds of young musicians in ensembles across the country and is currently the conductor of the Frederick Regional Youth Orchestra Symphonia. A Doctor of Musical Arts candidate in Conducting at the Peabody Conservatory, Jordan was invited to give a TED Talk at TEDxMidatlantic 2017 and is a contributor to Baltimore Magazine.

Praised for his “bold, original, and attention grabbing” sound world that blurs the lines between ambient, noise, electronic, and classical music, Chris Cresswell is an internationally recognized composer, sound artist, and guitarist. His award winning music has been performed in local cafes, art museums, universities, and world class concert halls around the world. He built a sound installation for the UK’s largest indoor rainforest biome at The Eden Project in Cornwall and once premiered a piece in an abandoned local cinema high atop the remote island cliffs of Madeira, Portugal. He is currently the artistic director and guitarist of 315 Ensemble and released his debut album on Ravello Records with 315’s eponymous release in March 2018. He is currently working on completing a follow up solo record as part of his With Electronics project, featuring the electric guitar and electronics. The 2018-2019 season will include  new compositions for trumpet, soprano, and electronics for the Byrne:Kozar:Duo, which is scheduled to premiere at the DiMenna Center in New York City in April 2019 and a new work for glissando flute and electronics for South Dakota based flutist Tammy Evans Yonce.
