What a lovely evening this was. My good friend Phil Dow (DWSM) invited me to come play at his renegade party up above beautiful Lake Tahoe. This was about a week after the 2025 Burning Man event and it was great to bring back a few tracks to play as a pseudo decompression party. This melodic mix is one of my favorites and I hope you enjoy!

My son Rowan was born on September 28, and one of my goals during paternity leave was to put together another studio mix. After a couple of fitful starts and late nights massaging transitions and tweaking levels, I'm very pleased with how this one turned out.

The rowan tree is known throughout Britain and Northern Europe as a tree of protection, resilience, and mystical power. It thrives in the most remote, rugged places, often growing higher than any other tree, symbolizing tenacity, endurance, and life in unlikely places.

Version 17 is the final version of Papascad.... in 2025, at least 😉 [UDPATE: we're now at Version 17.3; there have been three dot updates since in 2026!*]

Version 16 was pretty good, but after a few days of listening, something just didn't 'feel' quite right. I figured it out, did quite a lot of tweaking, and I'm much happier with V17 [and happier still with V17.3!] — the 'tingles' are back! ⭐️ I'm keen to get this out there now, which is a good sign.
