As Jennifer Cardini's Correspondent gears up for its forthcoming landmark 100th release, the label welcome another inspiring talent to the fold: Belfast veteran Jordan Nocturne.

Following key releases on the likes of Permanent Vacation and System Records, this Correspondant debut hits all the right rave spots with unabashed euphoria and energy. The titles say it all…

'Moving Around' isn't a suggestion, it's an order as Jordan goes old school with rolling bass momentum and a humungous riffy breakdown that will have you breaking out in goosebumps from head-to-toe.

The same can be said for 'Turn it Out'. Another Nocturne order, this one comes with full-flavoured Italo elements and widescreen synth funk. Armed and charmed with gutsy vocals, it's time to rock the house… And Jordan's got just the right materials. Get moving!

"Machia & Velli" is the alias of electronic music producer Oliver Schmidt, who started his musical career in the 1990s as a founding member of influential German HipHop bands "Poets of Peeze" and "Fettes Brot" and since 2017 helps his "teenage love" Italo Disco to boost into the 21st Century producing Italo, Dark Wave, Indie Dance and Synthwave tracks.
His 8-track "Discorsi" album was released on 14th October 2022 on Bungalo Disco label.

As an artist, he showcases his versatility on seminal labels Correspondant, Polari, Permanent Vacation & Gudu dipping into low slung electronics, italo-tinged house and peak time club energy as the mood takes him. Mainstage support comes from the likes of Peggy Gou, DJ Seinfeld, Gerd Janson & Jennifer Cardini, while Nocturne remix duties have taken in everyone from David Holmes and Inner City to Cormac and Django Django.

With energetic & propulsive DJ sets joining the dots between all facets of cutting edge electronic music, Jordan’s versatility sees him equally as comfortable in intimate sweatboxes and big stages. This has resulted in a dedicated following of clubbers has been built off the back of stand-out live sets and timeless mixes for Mixmag Lab, Boiler Room, BBC Radio One & Circoloco.
